Maple Tape Measure

Little story behind this one. I heard a lady talk about how tape measures get stretched and she was saying how she liked the metal kind best. But I still had not stumbled into T&M so I didn’t quite understand what material this metal tape measure was. Until I order one from here. Absolutely love it. You think that because it’s wood it’s clunky or not for soft yarn items. Wrong on all these. It’s small again sleek and it will not stretch out like my other ones!! I ordered 3 more for all my bags to have one.

I love my stitch markers - stunning, sturdy and of course functional. I was a little sad the tape measurer wasn’t flexible but I’m getting use to it! Excellent shipping as well.

I have bought a few things like the mini stitch repair hook, zip pouch, steel stitch markers, mini scissors with the leather sheath and my absolute fav is the tape measure. All of the products are very nice quality and such a great compact size for on the go. The tape measure is one of those things you just hold in your hand and love it immediately. Thread and Maple I love your stuff!

Handy tool for knitting projects

This fits perfectly in my notions clutch and is cute. I was a bit disappointed to discover that it’s metal.

Small, fits in project binder

I like the size because it is easy to put in a small knit bag with my project. I also like the natural material it is made of.

Everything from Thread & Maple is so thoughtful and beautiful! The ruler and measuring tape have already come in handy. Everything fits nicely into the leather binder and makes it easy to take projects with me wherever I go.

I feel the tape measure is too short : only 3 feet long. I’m not sur I like that it is metal. I’ll have to use it to see.

Very functional and I like the way the smooth wood feels.

There is not much one can do to make a tape measure pretty - other than put it in a hand made case.

Tape measure pulls out and retracts smoothly, and it looks much more impressive in the notions clutch than my plastic hot pink one. :)

As soon as I saw the wooden tape measure with the maple leaf, I knew I had to buy it. I bought it so quickly that I didn’t completely read the description and did not notice that the tape measure didn’t lock. As much as I would have preferred one that locks, I still give it 5 stars, because the product is just so cute.

The maple tape measure is as beautiful as it is useful. Feels so smooth in my hands and the light colored wood is easy to find in my notions bag. One nice addition would be if you could lock the tape measure in place.

So well made and beautiful. It’s a bit thicker then I thought. However it’s still stunning and well made.
