Called Forté for good reason, these Chiaogoo needles are *very* strong. Made of beautiful African black wood, they feature a stainless steel tip for a perfect combination of smooth comfortable grip and sharp tip. The joins are very smooth and the no-memory cables feature a swivel feature to prevent coiling and tangling. Each threaded steel fitting is laser engraved with the tip diameter and fitting size, which will never fade.

The Forté set includes 14 pairs of 5" (13cm) US 2 - 15 (2.75 - 10mm) needles.  In addition, all Forté parts have [S] or [L] size fittings and are therefore interchangeable with all other similarly coded interchangeable parts.

With the Blue Shorties set you can make 9" (23 cm) through 14" (36 cm) circulars.  This set includes 10 sets of 2" (5cm) solid stainless steel & 3" (8cm) hollow stainless steel interchangeable tips from US4 – US8 (3.5 – 5mm).

Also included is a secure tip sleeve, three [S] diameter X-Flex blue cables (5"/13cm, 6"/15cm & 8"/20cm), end stoppers, tightening keys, connectors, stitch markers and a mini needle gauge all in a blue, pocket-sized nylon fabric pouch.  The 2" (5cm) tips have a tightening hole to ensure you get a secure connection.

TWIST Red Lace Sets include 4" (10 cm), surgical stainless steel, lace tips and three cable lengths: 8" (20 cm), 14" (35 cm), and 22" (55 cm) cables to make 16" (40 cm), 22" (56 cm), and 30" (76 cm) circulars. TWIST red cables are memory free! They consist of a multi-strand, steel cable coated with red nylon. Also included with each set are easy-to-read, coded cable connectors, end stoppers, T-shaped tightening keys, stitch markers, a needle gauge and compact, zipper-enclosed, fabric case.  TWIST & SPIN tips, cables and accessories are all switchable!

The NEW Shorties [L] extension set includes 3” (8 cm) long tips in sizes US9 – 11 (5.5 – 8 mm) and cables to make 12” (30 cm) or 14” (36 cm) long circulars. The set comes in a yellow pocket pouch and includes three of the new SWIV360 cables, stoppers, connectors, stitch markers, a needle gauge, heart-shaped rubber gripper and tip sleeve. This set is great for knitting sleeves in-the-round!

Handcrafted in Vermont by a husband and wife duo Tom & Linda Diak, these needles are a truly special heirloom set. These are quite possibly the sharpest wood needles on the market with a long taper, which means practically no strand splits. These are an absolute pleasure to knit with, with an incredibly smooth finish and phenomenal completely seamless joins. A neat feature is that the cable rotates inside the little connector so there's not so much tangling and coiling as with other interchangeables. The cables themselves are very high quality coated wire and all the needles are made in the USA from locally sourced materials. The cables also fit all the Dyakcraft Tunisian crochet hooks (which are an absolute dream by the way!) Tom is an award-winning wood turner - all of the wood needles are turned, polished, buffed and finished in his studio in Vermont, while Linda makes all the cords and cases.
