Handcrafted from our signature buttery soft Crazy Horse leather, the Leather Envelope is the luxurious gift wrap your hand-knits deserve. Delight your loved one not only with a beautiful handmade garment, but a functional versatile gift wrap they can cherish as much as the gift itself!

At 8.5x11” (22x28 cm), this leather envelope is also perfect for safekeeping printed patterns, photos, or important documents.

And when you're ready to head out to brunch with friends or a breezy night out with a loved one, it transforms into a fabulous clutch, so you can hit the town in style!

If you'll be using the envelope as gift wrap for your hand-knit: hats, socks, mittens, baby items, and fingering-weight or finer cowls and shawls will fit beautifully. If you're not sure, here's a good way to gauge whether your item will fit:

1. Place an A4 (8.5 x 11") piece of paper on a flat surface
2. Fold your knitted item and place it on top of the paper, so that there is about 1/2" of white showing behind it on all sides
3. Measure the height of the folded piece. If it's 3" or less, you're good!

Each envelope comes with two detachable leather tags: one beautifully scripted tag reads "Handmade with Love" for the gift-givers out there. The second is embossed with the Thread & Maple logo.
