Create perfect cable twist patterns with these delicate bamboo cable stitch holders. Smoothly crafted from sustainable bamboo, these cable needles have a lightweight and warm feeling. The curved bow shapes are designed to hold stitches securely, while the needle is smooth and comfortable to hold.

Manufactured by Kinki Amibari, they are made of the finest aged bamboo, superior in quality, flexibility, colour and gloss. KA has been crafting bamboo tools since 1916 and is the oldest bamboo knitting needle maker in Japan. Each needle is specially treated and polished with natural plant wax, giving it extra durability while staying flexible.

Bamboo Cable Needle

This was purchased for a stocking stuffer - the recipient was very pleased. When I initially ordered it, it was out of stock but I was notified when it was available. The one downside was the mailing cost was VERY expensive - more than the item itself. The cable needle was very light and came in just in a little envelope. I couldn't imagine why the cost was so high, even though it was coming from Canada!

Good cable needle, doesn’t slip!

I bought the 5mm cable needle and it’s quite good! Stitches do not slip off! I kindof prefer U-shaped cable needles though, so I go between this and the Clover U-shaped needle I like. I do prefer the bamboo surface though.

Switched to this bent needle from the straight dp I was using. No more stitches slipping off in the middle of knitting a cable. Current project has a lot of different size cables so this came in the nick of time.
